More duties include: leading hikes and field trips for schools, community groups, and the general public including scheduling, marketing and writing press releases as needed; organizing, planning and implementing volunteer projects with field staff on parks and open spaces; coordinating and organizing a summer campground program series, including working with presenters, marketing and evaluation; collaborating with the outreach, education and volunteer team and other staff, outside agencies, and schools as appropriate; and assisting with volunteer management of the volunteer naturalist program and their training and recognition events.
