If so, the Purgatoire Watershed Partnership (PWP) is offering a one year position located in Trinidad, CO through the AmeriCorps VISTA program. The PWP is non-profit organization whose mission is to actively maintain a watershed-wide stakeholder partnership aimed at the assessment, restoration, protection & improvement of all aspects regarding the Purgatoire River Watershed. The PWP VISTA will assist with grant writing, building community collaboration, developing and implementing a public relations campaign, environmental education programs, and natural resource management projects such as water quality, noxious weeds, and streambank restoration.
