AUGUST 14th, 2021 | Colorado River Cleanup | RiversEdge West. Join RiversEdge West and the Grand Valley Paddling Club for their 17th Annual Colorado River Cleanup on August 14, 2021! The Colorado River Cleanup is an on-the-water cleanup where trash collected on the banks is floated downriver to the takeout and then disposed of. On Saturday, August 21st, the Lakewood and surrounding communities are gathering at Green Mountain Beer Company for a benefit fundraiser for the Colorado Watershed Assembly and Colorado Healthy Rivers Fund (CHRF). This event will help us raise money for important watershed clean-up activities throughout Colorado. This 9-day effort provides opportunities for volunteers to directly engage in improving the health of the watershed through cleanups, forest health projects, fundraisers and more.
