The Nonpoint Source (NPS) Program has announced a NPS Project Coordinator position. The purpose of this position is to coordinate and manage all technical and contractual aspects of nonpoint source (NPS) water quality improvement projects and assist with specific NPS program initiatives. Clear Creek Watershed & Forest Health Partnership (CCWFHP) with Coalitions & Collaboratives (COCO) is hiring a Forest & Mitigation Program Manager. This is a temporary Full-time, 2 Years position. Employment beyond 2 years is contingent upon the success of the program and acquisition of additional funding which CCWFHP and COCO will actively pursue. Location is remote via the Timberline Fire Protection District Headquarters. Application Deadline: February 15, 2024.

RiversEdge West is hiring a Restoration Coordinator and is seeking consultants for the Grand Valley River Corridor Initiative. This position’s focus will be working with restoration partnerships comprised of public, private, corporate, and Tribal entities to plan and implement riparian restoration projects, work with partners to determine long-term goals, track ecological conditions, and fundraise for partnership needs. RiversEdge West seeks a qualified consultant to conduct a riparian and floodplain health assessment, mapping, and report (remotely and field based) for the Grand Valley River Corridor. The goal of this assessment is to identify restoration and conservation priority areas and projects in support of a dynamic and healthy riverine ecosystem comprised of native riparian vegetation that supports native and endangered fish, birds, and other wildlife. This work is in support of a river corridor planning project funded by a Colorado Water Conservation Board, Water Plan grant and the Colorado River District. This project would begin in April 2024 and run for approximately six to eight months. Deliverables include digital mapping products (GIS and PDFs) and a short technical report. Qualifications are due on February 16, 2024.

Colorado Water Congress is seeking a Colorado River Project Coordinator.The Colorado River Project Coordinator represents Colorado River water users in Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah in the implementation of the Upper Colorado River Endangered Fish Recovery Program. A broad coalition of twenty-three water users in Colorado and Utah provide funding for a Coordinator through the Colorado Water Congress Colorado River Project. Each contributing water user is a member of the Project’s Executive Committee and provides guidance and direction to the Project Coordinator and is kept informed of Recovery Program activities through regular meetings with and correspondence from the Coordinator.
